Is CreteSeal licensed and insured?
Yes. Gerard Billing holds NSW waterproofing technician licence 181037C and the business is fully insured for work throughout NSW. Waterproofing is carried out in compliance with the NCC, AS 3740, AS/NZS 4858 and other applicable Australian Standards.
Do you fix leaking showers?
Yes — leaking shower repairs are part of our remedial waterproofing work. The cause gets diagnosed first, because a leaking shower can be failed grout, failed sealant or a failed membrane, and they’re very different fixes. If the membrane has failed, regrouting alone won’t hold — membrane repair is licensed waterproofing work, done under Lic. 181037C.
Do you do new construction work as well as repairs?
Both. We install waterproofing, flooring and coatings on new builds, and we diagnose and repair problems in existing buildings — failed membranes, cracked concrete, leaking pools and worn surfaces.
How much does waterproofing or concrete repair cost?
It depends on the scope, the substrate and access, so we don’t quote sight unseen — but every quote is obligation free. Photos of the problem help us tell you quickly whether it’s worth a site visit, and roughly what you’re looking at.
Can a leaking concrete pool be repaired without replacing it?
Usually, yes. Structural cracks in a concrete shell can often be diagnosed and repaired in place, and a tired interior can be recoated — typically at a fraction of the cost of a new pool. We inspect and quote before any work starts.
Who actually does the work?
CreteSeal is owner-operated. The work is performed by qualified tradesmen — not handballed to unlicensed labour with an occasional visit from the contractor.
